You may hear of this saying which goes "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". Well today I am going to tell you something different. An apple a day keeps the acne away. Yes apple contains a special ingredient that is an effective acne remedy. It is none other than apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar is able break down fatty, mucous and phlegm that are in the body hence improving the health and function of your liver, bladder, and kidneys. These 2 organs are the main factory in your body that functions to detoxify your body and cleanse your blood. And you know that acne problem is usually cause by the accumulated toxic in your body, so by taking apple cider vinegar, you help your body to function better to get rid of unwanted stuffs.

Apple cider vinegar also promotes digestion, the assimilation in the body and the elimination process. It contains Vitamin C, vitamin E, Vitamin A, B2 and B6, Vitamin P and beta-carotene which are great for your body. Apple cider vinegar is also antibacterial and hence it is able to get rid of toxic substances that can be harmful to our body and our acne skin.

I have tried using it for many months and it definitely helps to control my acne problem. Let me show you some acne home remedy that you can try out yourself. Mix 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink it in once in the morning. If you find it hard to drink, you can dilute it with water or add some honey to sweeten it. You can also use it to mix with bentonite clay for a face mask and apply it after the mask. Let it dry and then put tea tree oil on pimples followed by moisturizer.

When sourcing for apple cider vinegar, you should buy only organic apple cider vinegar. The non organic apple cider vinegar contains chemicals which will be absorbed into your body and could make your acne problem worse. More importantly, make sure you test it before use. Put a little under your chin and leave it for 15 minutes or so. If you have no reaction then you are not allergic. You can apply apple cider vinegar directly on your acne skin. But if you find it too strong for your acne skin, you can try mixing it with water, starting with a low amount of vinegar and then increasing the ratio. For a start go with a 5:1 ratio and move it up to full strength if your skin does not get irritated.
