Lightening creams take about 1 month after starting treatment to show visible results in your face. Some products are more irritating than others, so you can try a few brands to find 1 that best suits your acne skin. It is recommended to use the cream on the entire face instead of only a particular spot in order to avoid a ring of lighter skin against a darker skin color.
