So you suffer from acne? Having a hard time to cover those pimples? Indeed, acne issue is not only for teenagers, young adults can also suffer from acne problem. As our skin is one big organ that is use to eliminate excessive oil or toxic from our body that is not excreted in the urine or stool, acne can occur if your body is heavily detoxified. Adult acne problem is more of an internal problem, a problem due to our improper diet and unbalanced lifestyle, hence even if you keep your face clean at all times, acne can still manifest on your face.

Fear not, here are some great and natural tips you can use to tackle your adult acne problems. Firstly, try using a herbal wash by mixing a tincture of myrrh with a small bowl of water, and use some cotton to wipe your face. Myrrh is antiseptic and astringent properties can treat and prevent acne.

Next, give yourself a facial steam bath to steam those pimples out. You will love this one. Put some chamomile flowers or sage leaves in a bowl of water that is boiling hot. Then place a towel around your head. Create a mini-steam bath for your face. If you want a stronger steam bath, use tea tree oil, but be careful not to use too much as this is a powerful natural antiseptic. You can also apply tea tree oil directly to the skin where it is oily or where there are pimples. But some people are allergic to tea tree oil, so you may want to do a small patch test first. It is recommended to use products with 15 percent tea tree oil.

Supplement yourself with vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin E, and zinc as these are good for your skin. Flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil, or borage oil can help keep skin soft and smooth and can dissolve fatty deposits that block skin pores. So try taking a bit of all these daily.

You should never squeeze a pimple as a pimple is an inflammation, and you can cause infection by breaking it open, and worse still can leads to scar. But if you really need to remove the pimple temporarily, use a hot, clean cloth or tissue to soften the pimple and gently break the pimple open with small pressure. Try not to use too much pressure as this might leave scar on your face.

Lastly, hygiene is still very important. Washing two to three times a day is good to remove excessive oil. Take note that stress and improper diet can promote acne to pop up on your face, so try relaxing and eat more fruits and vegetables, as this is the best way to curb acne completely. After all, having acne when you are an adult shows that you are still young. So, you should be happy for that, right?
